Project Examples

Requirements

Beginning in January, students in groups of 3-5 or individuals will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.

Project examples that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:

  • Students may support an HR department or health committee in developing a nutrition and health/wellness program.
  • Students may help a nursing home dietitian or program team implement a nutrition education program for the residents.
  • Students may help an organization start a nutrition/health education program for their clients.
  • Students may help start a social media marketing campaign for a food company.

We are open to exploring different needs an organization may have around nutrition and health/wellness programming

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide an opportunity for students to present their work and receive feedback.

Provide relevant information/data as needed for the project.

Provide a dedicated contact person who is available for weekly/bi-weekly drop-ins to address students’ questions as well as periodic messages over the duration of the project.

Be available for a quick phone/virtual call with the instructor to initiate your relationship and confirm your scope is an appropriate fit for the course.

Be available for at least 2 follow-up meetings with the students to monitor progress, clarify doubts, and answer questions.
