If you are about to embark on a change initiative within your organization, allow an external resource to act as a consultant for you and your team.

  • Final client presentation (10 minutes)
  • Executive summary, including a change analysis and recommendations.

Each of the 5 groups will do 3 months of work to help your firm best manage the change you're going through - a total of 1000 hours of work.

Project Examples

Groups of MBA students will work with your business on a major change upcoming for your organization. Acting as external consultants, they will analyze the impact of the change on your business, and devise a change management strategy. Note: This is not a marketing project.

Their perspective and expertise will allow you to consider new angles and different areas the change could impact.

Some examples include:

  • a merger or acquisition
  • restructuring 
  • leadership challenge
  • implementation of a new technology system
  • redesign of an internal system or process
  • re-imagine your mission, vision, and purpose
  • developing and using learning communities
  • developing a partnership with another organization
  • preparing your organization for a change in legislation
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Present your problem or opportunity to the class (virtually) on September 27th (8:30-10:00PM EST).

Attend the draft stakeholder analysis presentations on November 1st (virtually, 8:30-10:00PM EST).

Be available for periodic questions from the students (optional).

Attend the final presentation on Dec 6th (virtually, 8:30-10:00PM EST).
