Project Examples

Starting in January, a group of four student-consultants in an entrepreneurship course will spend a total of 400 hours over 3 months tackling a challenge or opportunity facing your small business or start-up.

Based on the area of focus and goals that you provide for the project, the student-consultant groups will conduct research and analysis to deliver valuable insights and recommendations to assist your organization with an actionable solution.

Areas of focus can include, but are not limited to:

  • Creation of a complete business plan for product or service.
  • Development of a new market entry strategy.
  • Design of a marketing plan.
  • Prototyping a new product using 3D technology.
  • Performing a detailed competitor and environmental analysis.
  • Conducting an operations management or value chain analysis.

The main objective of the student groups (and what they are assessed on) is producing value for you and your organization.
