Project Examples

In this assignment, students will dive deep into a particular challenge or opportunity that you provide. They’ll work with administrative staff at the University as well as a contact from your organization to gain a thorough understanding of the needs of your business and (if applicable) the competitive landscape of your industry.

You will provide a particular question, topic or challenge that will be their area of focus. Their review and recommendations may encompass other areas as well, but they’ll provide specific recommendations to address your chosen topic.

Examples could include, but are not limited to:

  • Research and suggestions for new product lines, or bundling
  • How to streamline a process or protocol
  • Cost reductions (various areas)
  • New ways to market or target products/services etc. to a specific group of consumers (or finding new areas of consumers)
  • What technologies should we be leveraging for - anything your company needs
  • What climate factors might be influencing products lines, business areas etc. (And what to do about it)
  • How to leverage data-driven solutions
  • Very open!
