Learner goals and capabilities

Looking to elevate your organization and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Bow Valley College to be your student consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on your project over the course of the semester (kick-off in September, concluding in early December), connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.

The course prepares learners for collaborative experiences in real-world scenarios through work-integrated learning. The project provides an integrative learning experience that builds upon previous courses and life experiences. The learner, as part of a small collaborative group, will strategize and complete a project for a real-world client or problem following an appropriate workflow.

Creating a Market Research Brief

Students will conduct market research and complete a one-page brief before moving the project forward.

Completing a Visual Communication/Graphic Design Solution

Through research and ideation, students will develop graphic design solutions according to your needs - this can include re-branding solutions, web banner ads, social media, brochures, signage, or any other visual collateral (dependent on time throughout the term).
