Learner goals and capabilities

Centennial College invites employers to partner with final-year Software Engineering Technology students through the Software Development Project 2 capstone course. Students will work in teams to design and implement a complete application or game and the project must make use of enterprise tools to build enterprise-level data integration.

Interactive Gaming students will develop a game, and Health Informatics students will select a project that focuses on healthcare information systems.

This course emphasizes skills in communication, problem-solving, project documentation, and user-focused solutions, ensuring students are well-prepared for industry challenges.

Employers are expected to maintain regular communication, offer project guidance, provide relevant information, attend the final presentation virtually, and deliver constructive feedback through the Riipen platform.
