social media marketing digital marketing researchStudents take a Post Degree Diploma in Applied Planning. All students have a post secondary degree in fields including engineering, architecture, geography, and other social sciences. Working in groups, students are available to engage in a range of project activities as described below. Students are supervised by a practicing professional planner. Now in the second semester of a three semester program, the students bring an array of technical and communication skills to any project.
It really depends on the project. A typical project would include research, analysis, engagement in addition to a report including an executive summary. Other projects have included developing toolkits for staff or for community members as well as social media campaigns and asset mapping projects.
