Project Examples

Starting in September, a group of 4 senior students in an entrepreneurship course will tackle a challenge or opportunity facing your small business or start-up over 3 months and a total of 400 hours of work.

Your business will provide the students an area of focus and your goals for the project, and they will deliver analysis, insights and recommendations to provide value to your organization in addressing that topic.

Areas of focus can include, but are not limited to:

  • Creation of a complete business plan for product or service.
  • Development of a new market entry strategy.
  • Design of a marketing plan.
  • Prototyping a new product using 3D technology.
  • Performing a detailed competitor and environmental analysis.
  • Conducting an operations management or value chain analysis.

Students are assessed on whether or not they produce value for you and your firm!

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be a Boston area-based start-up or small business.

Attend a class (75 mins) in September to introduce yourself, your company, and define the KPIs that students will be measured against for this project.

Be responsive to periodic emails to answer any questions or concerns that the student(s) may have as they progress.

Be available for 3 status meetings (75 minutes each, you can attend virtually or in person) throughout the term.

Attend a class (75 mins) in December to listen to the presentations and provide feedback.
