Learner goals and capabilities

Looking to elevate your business start-up to the next level? Recruit senior-level diploma learners from George Brown College's Schools of Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Management as your learner-consultants in a project-based experience. During the semester, learners and/or the instructor will connect with you, as needed, using virtual conferencing tools to exchange information in the development of a comprehensive business plan .

Learners in this program/experience will learn the concepts and principles of Canadian entrepreneurship and small business management. Starting with evaluating a business opportunity, learners will apply research from competitive analyses and concepts from marketing, finance, legal, human resources, and operations, to develop and present a detailed business plan that includes a cash flow forecast and a pro-forma income statement that's suitable for new start-ups seeking financing.
