This is a course on national security. Students are extremely interested in national security issues broadly defined.

All work will be agreed upon between the employer and groups of students.

Multiple students and/or groups will be working with each company.

In the end, students will submit and, if need be, present their final report based upon the negotiated work agreement.

Requirements

Some projects include the following:

  • Creating research reports
  • Evaluating data for problem-solving activities
  • Analyzing reports on any information previously collected
  • Analyzing legal cases
  • Depending on the particular students, the appropriate use of foreign languages skills and international experience

Additional company criteria

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

A representative of the company will be available for a pre-selection discussion with the administrator of the course to review the project scope.

A representative of the company will be available to answer questions from students in a timely manner for the duration of the project.
