sales & marketing design thinking business strategy marketing strategy researchThis course is intended to incorporate all of the knowledge and skills acquired by students in their final semester of a three year marketing program in order to complete a comprehensive ‘marketing plan’ for a business client. The course is group-based, and is delivered in two phases. The first phase is lecture/seminar format covering key components such as: Project Management, Marketing Planning, and Group/Team Development. The second phase is developing a ‘marketing plan’ for the business, incorporating all the components required. A formal presentation will be delivered to the client followed by the submission of a written report at the completion of the course.
Students will present their research findings and recommendations, as well as a detailed written report.

The marketing plan will be tailored to the needs of the client and may include:
- Brand development and positioning
- Competitive analysis
- Target market and customer analysis
- Marketing and promotion strategies
- Digital engagement strategies
- Customer experience design
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:
A representative of the company will be available for group presentations at the end of the semester (3 hours)
