Our team is looking to take our online presence to the next level in order to drive traffic to our pages. To do this, we hope to improve our search engine optimization, and identify keywords for various social platforms.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

• Researching keywords to determine the most relevant terms that our customers search for.
• Researching Search Engine Optimization requirements for us to rank on the first page of Google.
• Creating a database of keywords and hashtags for our social media content
• Creating a database of keywords and possible titles for blog posts to drive traffic from search engines
• Use Wix to ensure SEO across our website

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities (this is basically a retelling of the steps above):

• Discuss the company's unique audience, and review audience analytics of our over 58k followers
• Compile a list of the most relevant SEO keywords for us.
• Use the list of keywords to ensure SEO on our Wix website (training can be provided)
• Create a database of keywords and hashtags for our social media content
• Create a database of keywords and possible titles for blog posts to drive traffic from search engines

The intern will have one-on-one support to learn about the audience, and SEO basics, along with how to use Wix SEO tools. The intern will have access to online SEO courses if needed.

The company will work to ensure the intern's accessibility needs are met, and that the intern is supported in planning and scheduling the project. The intern will have optional access to Notion to help with project management, and creating keyword databases. Training will be provided in how to use Notion if needed.
