What is the main goal for this project?


PROJECT SCOPE

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. The main project is to research and create content based on the newest insurance trends. Students will then turn such information into a newsletter to be circulated weekly to subscribers email. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization that we can use as go-to marketing tools.


TIME COMMITMENT PER STUDENT/TEMPS DE TRAVAIL PAR ÉTUDIANT: 80 hours

Deliverables

KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

  • Write articles/reports on assigned topics
  • Students will come up with 3 report topics
  • Students will complete 2 individual reports and 10-15 social media posts (With Captions)
  • Attend compulsory 30 mins weekly team meetings for training & progress recap
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story
  • Collaborate business trends & ideas into the articles


Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include a weekly progress meeting for an hour where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

HOW TO QUALIFY:

  • Be optimistic, personable, organized, driven, coachable & uplifting to your peers
  • Be creative, open to learning, adaptive, growth & attentive to detail
  • Intermediate to high-level English understanding & writing skills
  • Access to laptop, PC or tablet with connection to internet
  • Located within Canada with a Canadian citizenship status or Permanent Resident status
  • Experience & understanding of Zoom, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Canva, insurance & insurtech preferred but not compulsory
