We are seeking motivated and creative student consultants to join our team for the fall semester. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly impact our organization. You will be part of a collaborative group of students, guided by your academic coursework and real-world scenarios, to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and compile a one-page brief to inform project direction.
  • Visual Communication & Graphic Design: Develop visual communication and graphic design solutions tailored to our needs, including but not limited to:
  • Rebranding of Che Naildid: Create a fresh and cohesive brand identity for Che Naildid to enhance its market presence.
  • Branding Guidelines for Kids' Nail Collection: Develop comprehensive branding guidelines for our new Kids' nail collection, ensuring it appeals to our target audience and aligns with our brand vision.
  • Packaging Design for Luxury Touch and Feel: Design packaging solutions that exude luxury, providing a premium experience for our customers.
  • Additional visual collateral as required (web banner ads, social media content, brochures, signage, etc.)
  • Project Planning: Participate in project planning activities, ensuring tasks are well-organized and timelines are adhered to.
  • Creative Strategy: Contribute to creative strategy discussions, providing fresh ideas and insights.


Deliverables

Market Research:

  • Research Planning: Develop a research plan outlining the methods and resources to be used for gathering market insights.
  • Data Collection: Conduct primary and secondary research to gather relevant market data, competitor analysis, and consumer insights.
  • Research Brief: Compile a one-page market research brief summarizing key findings and insights to inform project decisions.

Rebranding of Che Naildid:

  • Brand Audit: Perform a brand audit to understand the current brand positioning, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Creative Brainstorming: Engage in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas for the new brand identity.
  • Brand Concept Development: Develop several brand concepts, including logo design, color palettes, typography, and brand messaging.
  • Stakeholder Presentation: Present the brand concepts to organizational stakeholders for feedback and refinement.

Branding Guidelines for Kids' Nail Collection:

  • Target Audience Analysis: Analyze the target audience for the Kids' nail collection, considering demographics, preferences, and trends.
  • Brand Elements Design: Create brand elements such as logos, mascots, color schemes, and typography that appeal to children and parents.
  • Guideline Documentation: Develop a comprehensive branding guideline document outlining the usage of brand elements across various touchpoints.
  • Review and Approval: Present the branding guidelines to stakeholders for review and incorporate feedback as needed.

Luxury Packaging Design:

  • Packaging Research: Investigate current trends and best practices in luxury packaging design within the beauty and personal care industry.
  • Concept Ideation: Generate innovative packaging design concepts that reflect a high-end, luxurious feel.
  • Prototyping: Create prototypes or mock-ups of the packaging designs for evaluation.
  • Final Design Presentation: Present the final packaging design concepts to stakeholders, highlighting features that enhance the touch and feel of luxury.

Visual Communication & Graphic Design:

  • Collateral Design: Work on additional visual communication materials as needed, including web banner ads, social media content, brochures, and signage.
  • Design Revisions: Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and finalize designs based on feedback.
  • Asset Delivery: Ensure all design assets are delivered in the required formats and meet the quality standards of the organization.

Project Management and Coordination:

  • Task Planning: Break down project activities into manageable tasks with assigned deadlines.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Progress Updates: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and next steps.

Reflection and Feedback:

  • Self-Assessment: Conduct a self-assessment of your performance and learning throughout the internship.
  • Feedback Session: Participate in a feedback session with mentors and stakeholders to discuss strengths, areas for improvement, and overall experience.
