Details

Our RDC team is looking to take our social media presence to the next level in order to drive traffic to our pages. To do this, we hope to improve our search engine optimization, and create an optimal schedule for our social media posts to be uploaded.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

Researching keywords to determine the most relevant terms that our customers search for.

Researching Search Engine Optimization requirements for us to rank on the first page of Google.

Constructing a content calendar to upload social media content for the maximum possible traffic .

Creating MH social media content using the most efficient keywords for our target audience while following the content calendar.

Bonus steps in the process would also include:

Potential Intern to focus is to promote safe and sustainable mental health coping strategies. Using our company’s social media analytics to tailor the content calendar to our customers activity, rather than general trends.

Deliverables

We would encourage that by the end of the project, the intern should complete the following list of activities:

  • Compiled a list of the most relevant SEO keywords for us.
  • Created a content calendar to drive traffic to our social media pages. All contents must be pre-approved before posting.
  • Prepared a report outlining the SEO keywords and the social media calendar to be reviewed by the Clinical Director.
  • Created engaging social media posts using the most efficient SEO keywords.

Bonus steps would include:

  • Tailoring the content calendar to our customers' activity levels at different times and days.

Final deliverables should include

  • A report containing the most relevant SEO keywords for our company and a content calendar.
  • Designs and writing for several social media posts to be uploaded as per the content calendar. All content must be approved by either Clinical Director before posting live on social media. Please note that prior knowledge of mental health is not required but is an asset.
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with our Clinical Director for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • We will provide what SEO keywords are being used by our company now, and which keywords have been used in the past.
  • When and how much do we typically post on social media - We will grant access to prior posts and template expectations.
  • There is a degree of input on choices and we will make ourselves available for questions or problems or anything else the students might encounter.
