cyber securityCyber Expert: This role represents an adult associated with the club who has specific professional experience that can support or enhance the Program Advisor’s education program. The Cyber Expert is typically a career professional or students with specific skills in the field of cyber security who acts as a real-world source of experience. Cyber experts can provide topical lessons or training around ongoing industry threats and cyber challenges. These volunteers are expected to bring their real-life experience to share with the enrichment of the project and cyber issue discussions led by the Advisor.
The Cyber Expert is responsible for:
- Providing a real-world experience and perspectives by creating the workshops to helping students better understanding about the basic knowledge and background regarding about the cyber security.
- Providing a bridge of understanding between the academic concepts and the practical realities of the cyber field.
- Creating the resource for students in exploring and developing their career path into the professional and collegiate cyber career development
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to providing the answers for the questions students might have for this project. We will providing all the resources and outline to helping our students to complete this project successfully. ISSA staff will meeting students weekly to go over the project and also to ensure the project is on the right track.
