- List Building and Segmentation: Begin building an email subscriber list by collecting contacts and develop a basic system for segmenting the list. The goal is to have an initial set of subscribers and a plan for organizing them.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the performance of the sample email campaign, tracking key metrics like open rates and click-through rates. The goal is to gain insights into the effectiveness of the initial campaign and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance Check: Ensure that email marketing practices are compliant with relevant regulations, such as the CAN-SPAM Act. The goal is to operate within legal boundaries.
- Knowledge Transfer: Transfer knowledge and skills to other team members to ensure they can continue email marketing efforts after the intern's role concludes. The goal is to build internal capacity for ongoing email marketing activities.

- Assist in defining the initial email marketing strategy for Sports After 6 (5 hours).
- Content Creation and Template Design (Approximately 15 hours):
- Create a sample email template that aligns with your company's branding.
- Draft sample email content for an introductory email to your audience.
- Design sample visuals or graphics to be included in emails (5 hours).
- List Building and Segmentation (Approximately 10 hours):
- Begin the process of building your email subscriber list by collecting contacts from your existing network and website visitors.
- Develop a basic system for segmenting your email list based on subscriber interests or demographics (5 hours).
- Initial Email Campaign Setup (Approximately 15 hours):
- Set up the selected email marketing platform, configure sender details, and integrate it with your website or other relevant systems.
- Create a sample email campaign and schedule it for sending (5 hours).
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting (Approximately 10 hours):
- Monitor the performance of the sample email campaign, tracking open rates and click-through rates.
