Details

We are looking for assistance in finding and completing grant applications that support our mission and vision statement.

We believe this project will include:

  • Assist with developing and expanding a Food program that had already been operating with limited structure.
  • Create a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and identify areas of need via census data.
  • Utilize USDA guidelines and structures to develop programs to sustain operations year around.
  • Interpret a request for proposal (RFP).
  • Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our non-profit's mission and vision.
Deliverables
  • Research, create and oversee the grant writing process
  • Develop Enrichment Programs that reach the community and impact social change
  • Create reporting system needed to stay in compliance with grantors
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.

Students will meet regularly with non-profit staff

Students will have access to email and phone numbers of key members of the state and local organizations.
