To do this, we hope to improve our search engine optimization, and create an optimal schedule for our social media posts to be uploaded.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Researching keywords to determine the most relevant terms that our customers search for.
- Researching Search Engine Optimization requirements for us to rank on the first page of Google.
- Constructing a content calendar to upload social media content for the maximum possible traffic .
- Creating social media content using the most efficient keywords for our target audience while following the content calendar.
Bonus steps in the process would also include:
- Using our company’s social media analytics to tailor the content calendar to our customers activity, rather than general trends
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities (this is basically a retelling of the steps above):
- Compiled a list of the most relevant SEO keywords for us.
- Created a content calendar to drive traffic to our social media pages.
- Prepared a report outlining the SEO keywords and the social media calendar to be reviewed by the project manager.
- Created engaging social media posts using the most efficient SEO keywords..
Bonus steps would include:
- Tailoring the content calendar to our customers' activity levels on different times and days.
Final deliverables should include
- A report containing the most relevant SEO keywords for our company and a content calendar.
- Designs and writing for several social media posts to be uploaded as per the content calendar.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- What SEO keywords are being used by our company now, and which keywords have been used in the past?
- How do we rank on Google based on different search terms?
- When and how much do we typically post on social media?
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
About the company
We are a Canadian Importer that has direct partnerships with family farms and producers, mainly originating from my parents home land Italy. Where my family is deeply rooted in olive cultivation and the transformation into virgin olive oil in Calabria. We have some olive oil producers from Spain and a few typical Canadian products which we are extremely proud of.
These family companies have a deep respect and intimate relationship to the land they cultivate, live on and thrive from as well as ancient wisdom for the craft that they have mastered which is driven by patience for mother Earth’s Bounty and passion for purity and perfection.
We distribute these award-winning family products into Specialty Retailers, Health Food Stores, Fine Cuisine Establishments and Culinary Institutes.
Our aim is to protect these essential and valuable food sources by promoting them, the territory and the people behind them through the in-store demos, structured tasting events, staff trainings, culinary cultural tours and across all Social Media Platform.
