The main goal for the project is to promote responsible use of recreational drugs such as opiates, hallucinogens and stimulants. The campaign supposed to promote social responsibility and reduce harms associated with overusing recreational drugs. This project requires the learners to plan and strategically design social media and printable products for The J Healthcare Initiative's awareness campaign. The secondary goal of this project is to increase the organization's visibility. This project will involve several different steps for the learners, including:


- Researching and understanding the current recreational drug using behavior and associated harms, how to be socially responsible if one chooses to use drugs in parties or in other recreational settings.


- Developing social media products such as infographics, videos, and posts for this harm reduction awareness campaign.


-Developing printable products such as cards, leaflets and posters for harm reduction awareness campaign


- Implementing strategies to increase the organization's visibility through social media platforms and other channels.


- Collaborating with the organization's members to align the campaign with the mission and goals of The J Healthcare Initiative.


Deliverables

By the end of the project, learners should demonstrate:


- Understanding of the current landscape of recreational drug using behaviour, development of addictive behaviours and associated harms.


- Creation of social media products for the social responsibility public education campaign.


- Implementation of strategies to increase the organization's visibility.


Final deliverables should include:


- All created social media products.


- A report detailing the research findings and the impact of the awareness campaign.

Mentorship

Feedback and review: Offer regular feedback on learners' progress, deliverables, and milestones. Conduct periodic reviews to ensure projects are on track and to provide constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement. Networking opportunities, supportive learning environment, a letter of recommendation.
