We are currently using a project management software called JIRA that manages our product backlog. We are looking for someone to own epics, stories, and tasks so developers can pull from the ordered list to determine what is needed to implement during the sprints.

During this internship, students are treated as equals. We value their opinions and ask them to present their opinions to discuss the topics and potentially adapt our marketing plan accordingly. The main benefit of seeing all stages of development is giving interns the freedom to develop their skill set.

Skills students will develop:

  • Agile and Scrum
  • Communication in a virtual environment
  • Familiarity with JIRA
  • Taking responsibility
  • Presentation skills for a business environment
Deliverables

Tasks may include but aren't limited to:

  • Set dependencies
  • Breakdown tasks
  • Breakdown Stories and Epics into tasks
  • Convert existing labels into epics/stories/tasks labels
Mentorship

Daily mentorship with discord/zoom/emails and regular meetings
