ABC Academy of Music is developing a small business platform that incorporates, consolidates, automates, and has the goal of simplifying business operations. Some of the following are features: Calendar, CRM, True Omnichannel Chat, Process Automation, Extensibility, Billing & Payments.

The main goal for the project is to have 1-2 project managers running 4 two-week sprints for ABC Academy's software development project, coaching software development students from other post-secondary institutions on aligning to agile methodology for back-end and front-end work, as well as working alongside a UX/UI team to advance design work.

While not required, it would likely be of benefit to the Project Managers to have some experience or background with software.

The tasks learners will need to complete to achieve the project goal include:

- Coordinating and conducting Sprint planning/review/retrospectives and individual meetings/coachings with individual students

- Coaching software development students from other post-secondary institutions on aligning to agile methodology for back-end and front-end work

- Working alongside a UX/UI team to advance design work

- Event management planning

- UX research

- Business decision research

- Workshop facilitation and requirements gathering

- Scrum & Epic/Story/Ticket writing

- Process mapping and review

-Project manager handoff document for the next project manager to take over from your work.

Ultimately, our goal is to advance our project towards a minimum viable product for each of the areas of the platform.

Your primary contact will be the Product Owner, Barnaby.

You will be given access to all of the tools we currently use for managing the project:

• Miro
• Jira (may change)
• Figma
• Slack

You will also have regularly scheduled meetings with Barnaby, and will be able to schedule ad-hoc meetings as necessary to help structure and advance your efforts.
