Its flagship product is a 6-module educational series that equips families with core emotional competencies. Graphic design and layout of various games and materials is required.
The right candidate will create the following graphic materials: educational booklets and various physical/tactile game materials (Cards, worksheets, posters, etc.) Work will be done according to an established brand guide (including font, colours, and other core elements) but the graphic designer will have a lot of latitude and creative discretion and be able to really create innovative game solutions based on their visual expertise and ideas.
The candidate will work in conjunction with the CEO & Founder of the company, with whom you will cooperate closely and iterate with. You will meet once weekly as a member of the graphics team + monthly as a whole company.
The right candidate will be a creative self-starter who is interested to learn what it's like to work for a scrappy start-up, and to learn all the ins and outs of creating a company from the ground-up, and who is passionate about emotional health and mental health accessibility and the emotional stability and competency of the family.
Learners will need to create all materials for Modules 5 + 6, including visual and tactile game materials for a total of 10 lessons, along with visual materials for use in video guides (static screens), along with booklet layouts.
Participating students will become part of a thriving and growing early-stage startup and get the inside track on what it takes to raise a business. The graphic design intern will be part of the graphic design team and will also collaborate across all teams (video team, business development, research, etc.
Participants will walk away with a jam-packed portfolio, a glowing letter of recommendation, and the knowledge that they contributed to making this world a more mentally healthy and emotionally intelligent place.
