DocDigitizer is an AI startup providing a Cognitive Data Extraction service, with (near) 100% accuracy, with human-in-the-loop, zero setup, zero warm-up and full pay-per-use. We are exploring new uses cases and ways to deliver value to people and organizations.

Project Scope

Positions available: 1-2 teams of 2 students.

Facilitate people to inform about mail delivered to the wrong postal address or inform about no longer resident at your place. In North America alone it is estimated than more 100 thousand tons of CO2 are linked to "undelivered mail". Also contribute to everyone's happiness by not have to handle dozens of letters in your mail box meant to others than you.

Build a mobile both iOS and Android that:

1) Takes a photo of a (paper) letter envelope that you receive in the mailbox

2) Connects to DocDigitizer service to run the extraction service and identify

3) Received and displays messages in the App about the status of the "undelivered mail"

4) Publish the App

Students will be responsible for:

• Building the UX/UI of the App
• Developing the app and connecting to DocDigitizer
• Documenting the code
• Record short videos demos
