Psychotherapy Training Institute (PTI) provides high-quality services in three primary branches: clinical supervision, continuing education and certification. These services support mental health professionals, including but not limited to: counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists.
This company started as a result of limited options in the professional field. For example, supervision services offered through PTI are not available anywhere in Canada. Our company brings innovative solutions for Canadian clinical practitioners.
This project focuses on marketing strategies and receives ongoing reports from a market research team. This is an opportunity to bring your ideas to a start-up that is changing the face of service options for mental health providers across Canada!
KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES:
This project will be focused on market research on PTI's 3 primary services: (1) Clinical Supervision, (2) Certifications, and (3) Continuing Education or Training.
Students will solve the current marketing challenge that PTI faces as a new company offering services that did not previously exist in Canada.
IDEAL ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Possible Roles would include Project Manager/Team Lead; Researcher; Analyst, Coordinator
Students will:
- Solve the current marketing challenge that PTI faces as a new company offering services that did not previously exist in Canada.
- Create content that drives higher engagement rates for customers
- Create target audience identification and execute strategies for greater brand recognition.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives, brand strategies and brand voice to support sales initiatives.
- Execute plans to increase customer acquisition and establish analytics to determine effective marketing activities.
- Analyze and optimize digital marketing assets.
- Create and execute strategies for use of paid media advertising.
- Present a Marketing strategies through data visualization to that enhances brand recognition
FINAL PROJECT DELIVERABLES:
- Students will translate data and insights from marketing plan to present a detailed visual report of strategies, brand strategy, and digital marketing assets. Students will focus primarily on data visualization with action-oriented recommendations, methodologies and plans for PTI’s next steps regarding communications, SEO strategies and social media plans. The team will record this data visualization presentation, submitting the recording and documents to the company owners.

All projects will begin on a first come, first serve basis, which cohorts are you + your team ABLE to participate in? Please list all that apply. Please note that flexibility will be key in ensuring we are able to secure a student team for your project.
