target market market size comparative analysis marketing go-to-market strategy researchWe would like to target certain international markets with our App services. Weddings in certain countries are big business. We would like to discover the barriers or requirements necessary to compete in these international markets.
International trade research, adjusting product modifications to fit regulating cultural differences, sourcing of suppliers, discovering channel partners, reviewing competitive landscape, discovering any potential IP challenges, creating market entry strategy, and choosing best locations.
• Research a target market segment and/or consumer base for insights into best practices and marketing potential.
• Provide comparative analysis for a given market against other similar entities.
• Include recommendations and examples for business generation and outreach.
Initial questions to brainstorm include, but are not limited to:
1. Where is the best place to launch for early success in the world? What is the total market size for this opportunity?
2. Who are our closest competitors and how do we differentiate ourselves?
3. How do we establish our brand: Build awareness, acquire and retain customers?
We will have daily, or weekly standups, as required, to answer questions, discuss challenges, and be available via Teams chat. We will also provide access to necessary online tools.
About the company
My Party Album is a private photo-sharing app. There are 2 types of services, the Party and the Mixer. Parties are defined by duration and the number of guests (i.e. weddings, family reunions, corporate events). Guests are invited by the Party Owner and every picture and 15-second video taken in the app is automatically uploaded to a private repository. They have sole access and can create albums to share as they wish. A Mixer is a subscription service for up to 20 people and is for everyday life and events (friend group, family vacation, spring break, girls' night out, gap year, etc). Content is automatically shared with every person in the Mixer. The app is private; the pictures are owned by the Subscriber or Party Owner and MPA has no access to them. They are not shared outside the app unless the Owner decides to share them. In this project, we want to spin off and rebrand the Mixer for our Collegiate Program making it available to school groups and faculty.
