Firstly, I would like to comment on the evident success of your program. The student's work was of a very high standard, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of sustainability in a business context. They showcased a range of skills, including analytical thinking, strategic planning, benchmarking, communication, and presentation skills, which are all crucial in the business world. This was particularly impressive considering sustainability was not an area of study for the students, and the placement was treated as any real-world business project would be; the students had to stand on their own and deliver meaningful work on this project. Your approach to teaching clearly emphasises real-world application and hands-on experience. The students were able to apply their knowledge to a new - real-world - practical project, demonstrating their understanding of the content they studied and their ability to use this in a current business context. I appreciated the selection process you went through to ensure the best-fit students were engaged on this project - this clearly paid off for us. I really enjoyed the level of communication and engagement in the project from the students, I do believe your selection process positioned the project for success from the start. Your program is doing an excellent job of preparing students for their future careers. The skills and knowledge they are gaining are clearly evident in their work.
