Final deliverables include:

  • A written executive summary detailing the problem, recommended solutions, and action plan.
  • Relevant appendices.
  • A presentation 'poster session' where the students discuss their report and are available for Q&A.

Project Examples

Beginning mid January, a class of MBA student-consultants in 3-4 groups of five will spend 225 hours per group developing strategic change management plans for your organization.

Based on the information that you provide, MBA students will diagnose your challenges and develop a strategy to address them.

Sample student projects include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing an internal system related to socialization, motivation, team management, conflict resolution, leadership, change management, etc.

  • Re-imagining your mission, vision, and purpose, then rolling it out to employees.

  • Integrating cultures in a merger or acquisition.

  • Assessing organizational structure and its fit with your organization’s strategy.

  • Increasing diversity in your organization.

  • Addressing employee turnover and improving employee retention.

  • Leveraging the skills of both firms in a merger and acquisition.

  • Restructuring based on your organization's strategic purpose.

  • Creating prototypes of new products and services that could reflect your organization's new strategic role.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Meet with students throughout the semester (or via phone) as needed.

Be available for a phone call with organizer.

Confirm scope appropriate for the experience.

Commit to coming to class three times.

Provide a dedicated contact who will be available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address student’s questions or provide additional information.
