Six teams of MBA student consultants will collectively work over 1500 hours to analyze a current change initiative in your organization. Student teams will develop an effective change management strategy for your organization. Student teams work with organizations that are embarking on a major change effort in response to a strategic change or environmental disruption. Teams apply design thinking and various change tools to conduct an analysis of the situation, the opportunities and the risks, and key stakeholder groups, to develop innovative solutions that address stakeholder concerns. The majority of the students are working and have expertise in a variety of business and not-for-profit disciplines and industries. The client will join the class (either in person or virtually) three times in the semester. Note: This is not a marketing project.

Through the collaborative consulting project with a client organization that is a key part of the class, students gain exposure to the real-world challenges faced by a Boston-area based business as it relates to a change process it is currently implementing. Students and client collaborate to analyze the client’s challenge, helping to envision solutions to the organizations’ challenge, with the goal of helping the organization realize its highest purpose or intention.
