Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from College of the Rockies to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Learners in this program/experience receive a comprehensive introduction to key principles in structural and historical geology. From exploring geologic time to studying fossil records and mineral deposits, students dive into the Earth's history, dating techniques, organic evolution, and natural resource issues.

Is your organization looking to analyze or test systems' and applications' security? In this course, students from SAIT will work with your organization to solve a problem or opportunity of your choosing related to cybersecurity. Students will work in teams applying critical thinking, skills and knowledge learned in the Information Security Analyst (ISA) program to develop a product of your choosing from concept to implementation.

This experience offers your organization the opportunity to collaborate with a team of five MBA students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. These students are equipped with skills in competitive analysis, business strategy, risk assessment, and market research. Over the course of 125 hours, they will work to address a specific business opportunity or problem in areas such as marketing, strategy, talent management, IT strategy, new product development, or foreign market entry. The goal is to provide actionable insights and strategies that can be implemented to enhance your organization's operations or market position.

This experience is designed for learners enrolled in business programs at UFV, focusing on marketing, human resource management, international business expansion, and management. Learners are equipped with foundational knowledge and practical skills that can be applied to real-world business challenges. Through this experience, students will have the opportunity to work on projects that allow them to apply their classroom learning to practical scenarios, enhancing their problem-solving abilities and understanding of industry dynamics.

My learners are equipped to tackle projects in machine learning and statistical learning, having gained proficiency in Python and R. They have engaged with several hands-on courses covering machine learning, statistical data analysis, SQL and database management, Tableau dashboard creation, data engineering, and big data. I am seeking internship projects that will help them apply their skills as part of their data science master’s program.

Do you have a GUI challenge you would like to tackle? In this project, students working in teams will use object-oriented approaches to solve Graphical User Interface (GUI) problems. Topics include object-oriented concepts including inheritance, polymorphism, exception handling, graphics and GUI design techniques. Types of projects that students can work on: Projects that require Object-Oriented and Java programming components.
