Looking to elevate your business, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from McMaster University to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this course are examining neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to change. Although neuroplasticity is now a widely accepted phenomenon, it wasn't long ago that it was thought the brain could undergo very little, if any, change after childhood. Ample evidence now suggests the brain continues to be modified throughout our lives. What remains an open question, however, is how those changes influence our thoughts and behaviours. Students will examine a variety of themes in neuroplasticity in order to examine how the brain adapts to both external and internal inputs.
