Freedom Roadmap: Enhancing Workplace Wellness through EAP Integration
Project Overview: This project invites students to design a professional and compelling strategy to package and promote The Freedom Roadmap —a divorce support program—for inclusion in Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). The goal is to position the Freedom Roadmap  as a vital mental health and productivity resource that companies can offer to employees going through separation or divorce. Background Research Insight: Divorce is one of the most stressful life events and can significantly impact employee well-being and performance. Studies show that employees navigating divorce experience reduced productivity, increased absenteeism, and emotional distress for an average of three years . According to research by the Grief Recovery Institute, the cost of divorce and other emotional stressors to U.S. businesses exceeds $75 billion annually . These stressors directly affect workplace engagement, decision-making, and team morale. By offering The Freedom Roadmap  through their EAPs, companies can proactively support their staff, reduce stress-related losses, and foster a culture of compassion and resilience.

Podcast Production
Since podcasts are becoming an increasingly popular content medium, our company hopes to capitalize on this by creating our own. In this project, students will collaborate with us to take advantage of trending media and create a season of our own podcast. We would like students to deliver a 5-episode podcast series based on our company’s nice to resonate with our target audience. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Collaborating with the project manager to form a name and a theme for the podcast, and a topic for each episode. Script various components of each podcast episode such as the introduction, welcome, call to action, and outro. Create cover art for the podcast. Research and plan what will be discussed on an episode-by-episode basis. Record and edit each episode. Facilitating special guest appearances in one or more episodes.
