Mock Interview Project Fall 22
Positions available: One team of four students This team will work together to create the following reports and conduct valuable interview preparation to TRU Students. The project may include, but is not limited to: Review and update Mock Interview Tool for a variety of industry specific interviews (HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, International Business, Accounting, Finance, plus IT, Engineering, Sciences, Arts and Tourism) and will include a job description, Interview questions and feedback tool. This team will aim to conduct 200 Mock Interviews on campus for TRU students, each Mock Interview session will be 1 hour in length and will include 30 minutes for documentation and feedback. The final project deliverable is one report and completion of 200 Mock Interviews on campus. These reports will provide valuable documentation for Co-op Coordinators but also valuable feedback and training for TRU Students.

Content Writing – Accessibility Month
Number of Students Required 1 Monte Creek Winery is looking for a marketing/communications student who wants to gain experience by helping us to creating content that is aligned with our vision, values and sector. A student with excellent writing, strong communication, skills in website management and interest in digital & traditional media would be the ideal candidate for this project This co-op position will focus on - Creating content on our Accessibility Efforts May is National Accessibility Month. Develop content on our accessibility efforts that will be populated on our website, used in our newsletter and on social media. Covering topics such as why it is important to have accessible, bathrooms, parking spots, merchandise displays.

Co-operative Education Research Assistant (Summer 23)
Positions available: 4 The co-operative Education Research Assistant position will support co-op faculty members in scholarship of teaching and learning research project initiatives. Activities include: hosting focus groups, designing survey's, analyzing data etc. This position will be ideal for a student who is interested in teaching and/or career education. Marketing Plan – Winery Events

A student with excellent writing, strong communication, skills in website management and interest in digital & traditional media would be the ideal candidate for this project This co-op position will focus on - Advertising and promotions of Winery Events - Identifying Advertising opportunities - Developing Materials and Tickets Develop and implement advertising and promotion campaigns around supporting events that Monte Creek Winery is hosting: identifying advertising opportunities (radio, TV, Facebook/Instagram), developing printed materials such as posters, social media campaign, newsletter content, website events and ticket sales.

Special Project Management – OceanWise Campaign
Number of Students Required 1 Monte Creek Winery is looking for a marketing/communications student who wants to gain experience by helping us to creating content that is aligned with our vision, values and sector. A student with excellent writing, strong communication, skills in website management and interest in digital & traditional media would be the ideal candidate for this project This co-op position will focus on - Marketing plan for OceanWise - Collaborating with OceanWise Restaurants - Developing Materials Creating a marketing plan for an OceanWise Campaign that will run this summer. Collaborating with OceanWise restaurants to run a wine and dine feature where part of the proceeds supports OceanWise. Promotion is designed to run in upper echelon restaurants in Vancouver and Calgary. In doing this campaign, the student will also develop some recipe cards by facilitating chef/wine paired dishes.

A student with excellent writing, strong communication, skills in website management and interest in digital & traditional media would be the ideal candidate for this project This co-op position will focus on - Marketing plan for donations Campaign - Collaborating with Tasting Room Team on Logistics - Blog Posts, social media Creating a marketing plan for a donation Campaign that will run this summer. Collecting donations through the tasting room that will be donated to a cause in the month of July. Collaborating with the Tasting Room team on logistics like which organization we will be supporting, how will funds be collected, goals of the campaign, developing content for a press release, blog post and social media, and how to promote the campaign.

A student with excellent writing, strong communication, skills in website management and interest in digital & traditional media would be the ideal candidate for this project This co-op position will focus on - Point of Sale Marketing Materials Generation of point of sale materials for the tasting room and wholesale team. Includes price tags, accolade cards, datasheets, neck tags, shelf talkers, etc. Developing the creative in-house or with designer. Then collecting quotes from print shops to get the items into production. Ensuring proper distribution.
