Workload is true to the project description and the onboarding process was smooth. There were some communication hiccups along the way, but when all the leaders were present it was a decent experience.

I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to intern in the [Internship Position - UI Design] role. During this period, I have gained valuable insights into the importance of teamwork. However, I have observed areas where improvements could be made and would like to offer some constructive feedback to contribute to the ongoing success of the team. Firstly, I've noticed that communication can sometimes be a challenge. There are instances where information seems to be conveyed less promptly, potentially resulting in project delays or misunderstandings. I suggest considering the implementation of regular communication channels, such as scheduled meetings or the use of team collaboration tools, to ensure a more timely exchange of information. Additionally, regarding the clarity of project requirements, I believe there are moments when the descriptions of project needs may not be entirely clear. In my internship experience, I have found that additional information is sometimes required to ensure that my designs align with the project's expectations. To enhance project efficiency and accuracy, I propose a more detailed discussion and clarification of project requirements and goals at the initiation stage. These suggestions are not intended as criticism but rather as constructive input to enhance overall team effectiveness. I believe that by improving communication and ensuring clarity in project requirements, we can collaborate more seamlessly and increase the likelihood of project success.

I have really enjoyed working with the fitness factory team. I like that we have a designated weekly meeting to go over our work, get feedback, then get a new task. I also have enjoyed learning a new software, figma.

Working with the Fitness Factory was a great opportunity to get familiar with a Canadian start up and Canadian working environment as an international student. Project managers and administrators was really educated and patient in delivering the material that we need to know.

The company accepted the request to connect but after the initial exchange of emails, did not hear back from the company.
