Greetings! My name is Rocia, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Commerce at the University of Toronto. I am a first-year Rotman Commerce student who will specialize in Finance and Economics with a focus in Data Science. I am a diligent, conscientious, and enthusiastic student who thrives in both independent and collaborative environments and is eager to learn from challenges. I have a strong passion for problem-solving, with rich experiences from completing projects in marketing analysis, budget-building, financial analysis, and quantitative research. I am confident that these experiences have provided me with the necessary communication, interpersonal, analytical, and project-management skills needed to be a competent candidate for future positions. Social Media Strategy & Tactics for Increased Conversion

The primary objective of this project is to create Social Media strategy and tactics including specific content marketing to increase conversion for Nature’s Zeal’s products and services. Nature’s Zeal is a Social Enterprise, Ontario’s premier online hub improving Women’s sleep and wellbeing.  Our practices are based on extensive research, practice and results.  The results have included significant improvements in sleep quality, weight loss, increased energy levels, overall immunity and well-being - both mental and physical.   We currently have limited social media presence on Instagram ( https://Instagram.com/Natures.Zeal ) and YouTube ( https://Youtube.com/@Natures-Zeal )  Background: We have conducted 6 detailed research studies with 31 Health Care Professionals ranging on the topics below.  The intent of the social media strategy would be to use the information provided on the extensive research and the available programs and practices of Nature’s Zeal to put into place a specific and tactical plan that can be deployed to improve conversion rates “How can weight management affect women’s sleeping patterns” “Circadian Rhythm disruptions in women caused by sleep deprivation; contributions and remedial measures initiated by Natures’ Zeal” “Benefits of preventative health initiatives that influence women’s sleeping patterns, in reducing overall expenditures while improving quality of life “ “How does cooking clay pot and replacing breakfast with a detox drink (coconut water, vegetable juice or winter melon juice) followed by a water rich fruit and bowl of soaked nuts, help in improving Women’s sleep? “the effects of flexibility, strength training, toning, and resilience exercises on women's sleep quality.” “Empowering Women Through Mindfulness: Benefits and Activities

"Visual Storyteller" - Social Media Marketing Intern

I was a social media marketing intern (or a "visual storyteller") at Nature's Zeal between August and October this year. Under this job title, I was responsible for analyzing the company's marketing potential by researching target consumers, conducting industry and consumer analyses, leveraging research insights to develop content strategy and tactics documents, and tailoring marketing content to successfully drive traffic to the company's platforms and increase brand awareness. 

Additionally, I was also responsible for designing social media marketing deliverables to promote the company's products and services. By collaborating with other students, identifying company best practices, developing marketing campaigns, and producing multimedia marketing deliverables and content upload schedules, I was able to help the company increase their product conversion rates and social media followers. Throughout the process, I maintained frequent communication with the founders of the company, and eventually received positive feedback for my high commitment to the work.
