We are excited to be launching a new business, (name of business and brief description of what the company will do). With any launch, having a financial plan is one of the keys to success, and we would like to involve students in creating one for our new venture. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Learning about our business strategy from various employees to become familiar with our goals, mission, and products. Creating forecasts using Excel (or another financial software) for sales in the first year of operation as well as an income projection (conservative and aggressive). Working with our team to develop an expense budget. Conducting a break-even analysis timeline using financial projections. Reporting on projected assets and liabilities. Including visual comparisons such as graphs and charts to show the differences between the conservative and aggressive income projection.

Amaranth seeks to deploy a cloud-based membership platform for a client organization, aiming to streamline membership management and enhance user experience. The project involves identifying suitable open-source membership software that aligns with the client's needs. Once selected, the software will be configured to meet specific organizational requirements, ensuring it supports all necessary membership functions. The project also includes rigorous testing to ensure reliability, security, and performance before deployment. This project provides learners with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of cloud computing, software configuration, and testing methodologies. The tasks are closely related and can be completed by a team of learners specializing in information technology or computer science.

The Lady Instructor aims to support a superior court case by raising $10,000 through a GoFundMe campaign. Additionally, the company seeks to expand its reach and impact by growing its paid subscriber base for its newsletters. The ultimate goal is to secure funding to establish a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating workplace bullying and harassment. This project will focus on developing a comprehensive strategy to achieve these financial and subscriber growth objectives.
