If I had to pick two interests it would be psychology and technology. Considering which one I felt would aligned with my goal to help others and interests, I studied neuroscience. But after working in a lab, I didn't find it rewarding enough. Moving into technology instead, I decided to try working in IT. Eventually my role transitioned away from IT and more with 1:1 client interactions and relationships. A day came when a client reminded me that maybe I would enjoy working in therapy, which made me backtrack my originals goals for choosing neuroscience and it was because at its core, I wanted to help others.

I went back to school to study psychology and counseling, breathing life back into my ambitions. I was fortunate enough along that way to have supportive mentors to provide me opportunities to practice therapy and build confidence. Taking what I've learned in psychology and technology, I sought for a way in which I can marry the two aspects leading to UX/UI design. Now I strive to continue finding ways to help others discover solutions to their problems using the skills I've learned along the way.
