Professional Practicum Program
Flexible
Students completing their Bachelor of Kinesiology, Bachelor of Science Kinesiology, or Bachelor of Arts, Recreation, Sport, and Tourism are all required to complete a practicum course. Our programs offer a variety of majors or specializations ranging from health promotion to adapted physical activity, to sports administration, recreation administration, and sports management. Students complete their practicum course near the end of their degree and will begin their placement with a very strong background knowledge within their area. Students in full time placement will work 30-35 hours per week over 13 working weeks in either paid or unpaid practicum placements.
