Andrea has been teaching at Red River College since January 2008 in both Continuing Education and the ACME department.
Her majors in Bachelor of Arts were Sociology, Psychology and Religious Studies. Andrea has 20 years of management experience in retail and 9 years of owning her own pet supply stores. As a result of her background she has taught a wide variety of courses including Management Principles, Retail Management, Marketing Management and International Marketing. She also teaches Organizational Behavior, Consumer Behaviour and Entrepreneurship.Andrea's philosophy is that it is important to realize the challenges our students present in order to help ensure their success. It’s as equally important to have strength in our abilities to motivate the students to want to succeed and to do well.
She does whatever is necessary, and believes in doing everything to the best of her ability. She is dedicated to the growth of her students. - Portals

Integrated Marketing Communications
Students can help solve marketing problems by providing communication solutions. Students will integrate various forms of communication and messaging in a marketing campaign to ensure clarity, consistency, and maximum impact. In this project, students will evaluate the strategic roles of a variety of communications, identify target customers, communicate brand awareness and create communications. The students will work in teams to collaboratively develop an integrated marketing campaign. A strong online presence is key to unlocking new markets and building your customer base. Whether you are launching a new product, promoting your business, or trying to reach new audiences, integrating traditional and modern day marketing techniques is an excellent advantage. In this project, a group of students will analyze your current marketing activities and suggest solutions from traditional to social media and propose methods to strategically leverage these tools to achieve your goals.
