As a Fashion Design and Sewing Intern for Smart Underwear, you will play a pivotal role in our creative team, actively contributing to the development of innovative and technology-infused lingerie. Working alongside seasoned designers and engineers, you will infuse cutting-edge designs with smart functionality, emphasizing your skills in embroidery, sewing machines, and various sewing techniques.
3D product visuals development/rendering
As a 3D Product Rendering Specialist, you will be responsible for transforming conceptual designs and technical specifications into captivating 3D renderings and videos. You will play a crucial role in showcasing the unique features and aesthetics of our smart underwear, contributing to an immersive online shopping experience for our customers.
Competitive analysis and Market research
We would like to collaborate with students to conduct a competitive analysis of our business. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our company, products, and target market. Identifying current and potential future competitors. Creating a matrix identifying features that are similar and different between companies in Google spreadsheet. Summarizing our competitive advantages and disadvantages relative to the competition identified. Conduct market research for a given set of data points including but not limited to market sizes and projections.
Material scientist
This project is focused on developing and fabricating the sensors for our product. The learner will help the sensor fabrication team in the lab with writing reports on the data of the experiments. Data analysis of the results of the experiments would be the main task of the learner.
Data Assistant
The main goal for this project is to identify trends and provide analysis of our survey responses as well as data provided in the literature. The data will be located in an Excel sheet and the analysis will include but not limited to pivot tables, line and pie and bar graphs.
App developer
This project is focused on developing the smartphone application for our product. This will be an iOS and Android-compatible app and the app developer will be working with the software developer team on the front end and in some cases on the backend.

This project is focused on strengthening Fibra’s social media presence by creating engaging and relevant content and posting it on Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. The learner will work closely with the digital media specialist on implementing strategies to increase Fibra's community members and also increase the number of individuals on the waitlist and our other marketing materials.

Assist in the development of our minimum viable product (MVP) Architecting, developing, optimizing, and owning the deployment of ML functionalities into production systems Proposing appropriate tools (languages/libraries/frameworks) for implementing projects Conducting in-depth research on different machine learning techniques most applicable to our product and develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
