Full Brand Identity Design Exploration

ART 363

Feb 26, 2025 - Apr 3, 2025

Trinity Western University's Art + Design program is excited to invite organizations to collaborate with our third and fourth-year students in the "Format and Layout Design" course. As one of the projects for this course, students merge classroom learning with a real-world design challenge, honing their skills in brand and identity design. This project has a relatively fast-paced turnaround time of roughly 4-5 weeks and there are roughly 15-20 students in this course. By partnering with us, clients will have the opportunity to engage with a full class of motivated learners who are eager to develop their design expertise through providing well-developed design solutions in several ready-to-use file formats and lockups. We seek clients who can meet with the class in an initial client interview (either in-person or virtual), provide each student with a few sentences of written constructive feedback at the mid-way point, and participate in the final design presentation session (in-person or virtual) where students will showcase their work. This will support a meaningful learning experience for our students. Please note that there are a range of experience levels among the students in the class. Some students will have previously taken one design course, while others may have previously taken 4-5 design courses. For this reason, the client should expect some variation in quality among the students' projects. All students will be expected to develop their work in consultation with the instructor, and tasked with providing strong design solutions that address the clients needs and goals.
