A team of students with required skill sets will work on a consulting project for a retail company partner. Typically, these projects can be 6-12 weeks in duration. The project will focus on solving a specific challenge or identifying specific opportunities for the retailer. Benefits to retail partners include: Talented, skilled students with relevant skill sets work on the project; teams can consist of students with different backgrounds (for instance, marketing, finance and data science), depending on the skills needed for the project Faculty supervisor will oversee the project At least one experienced retail executive who is affiliated with the David Sobey Centre will be a mentor/coach for the student team

Undergraduate students will carry out and write up a training needs analysis, select the appropriate training method and design, and evaluate the effectiveness of the training.
